From Counselling

1. I have my Ruth (Rick).

2. I'm keeping my eyes open for my Boaz.

3. I can't see the foreshadowing of the harvest.

4. I'm going to start looking really, really hard for a foreshadowing of the harvest.

5. I may not have a harvest.

6. I may be someone else's harvest.

7. I don't want to be someone else's harvest.

8. I'm not afraid of death.

9. I am afraid of living a very short life.

Okay, if I only understand about half of those, does that mean I should be in counseling, too? I probably should anyway -- counseling is a very good thing!

I think you're acknowledgment of the last 2 statements is very wise -- I've never thought of it that way, but I feel the same way: death will bring us all to a glory that we can't even imagine -- but I don't want to MISS anything here!!

I totally get that.

I may write tomorrow or Friday explaining some of those. Some of them weren't meant to be understood by anyone, although if you do understand them, that's fine. I just needed to write them.

And there's a little more to the not wanting to die young thing than just missing stuff....I mean, that's a huge part of it, but there's much more.

I'm glad you can relate. :o)

I am reading Amanda, I just don't have any comments I think are worth while. Alright, take your jaw off the floor now.

I love you and Rick.

I hoping that you have your comments e-mailed to you so that you see this. I was browsing through your blog and read this and I thought it was really beautiful. Just wanted to let you know.
