I'm Self-Centered

Someone once told me that if you find 5 "I's" or more in a paragraph, it's a clue to how self-centered a person is.

My self-centeredness must be off the chart judging by just a few paragraphs on this blog......

Somehow...when you are writing a story about yourself, I don't see how you can't say " I " all the time.

For the record--you are about the least self centered person I know.

Technically speaking, that statistic doesn't apply here... I mean the title of your blog IS Diary of a Transplant Patient. Kind of hard to journal bits and pieces of you life and thoughts in diary form without quite a few I's thrown in the mix.

;) Chin up, you may your "I" a lot, but your intent is obviously to share your experience with others, with no direct, tangible benefit - and that is not self-centered.

I think your blog is worth reading. I don't think you're a coward at all. I don't think you're boring. I certainly don't think you're self-centered because after all this is your blog and how are you supposed to relate things about your life and experiences without referring to yourself as "I"? Well I guess you could refer to yourself in the third person.

Okay, I think I counted at least five I's there. Good...now I'm the self-centered one! Go and have a perfectly unselfish day and know that your blog family cares about you and is praying for you.

Blessings!
